Ticketmaster wins ICANN UDRP case involving 108 domain names

With one of the largest number of domain names handled in a single ICANN UDRP action, Ticketmaster recently prevailed against the registrant of 108 domain names containing the TICKETMASTER mark. Ticketmaster v. Hicks, Case No. D2004-0400 (WIPO 2004). The case is the subject of a USAToday piece "Beware of bad-faith registration of domain names" (July 28, 2004). Ticketmaster was represented by Bob Sacoff and Manuel Herrera at Pattishall, McAuliffe.

CNN won the largest UDRP decision on Dec. 16, 2002, in a case involving 325 domain names. A copy of the decision is available here: http://www.arbforum.com/domains/decisions/117876.htm
