This blog was started in August 2004.  My sincere thanks to all of you who have been coming to the site over the past year.  From time to time I hear from some of you telling me that you appreciate the site.  Your kind words make the effort worthwhile.

Some of the good things over the past year are:

1.  Several posts have been selected by www.circleid.com for republication.  I'm flattered.

2.  Matthew Holmann at [non]billable hour noticed early on and invited my comments for his five by five post on IP.  Thanks Matt.

3.  Several other great bloggers noticed and provided links, including Martin Schwimmer at the Trademark Blog, Eric Goldman at his Technology & Marketing Blog, and Evan Brown at his InternetCases.com blog.  There are others; forgive me for not mentioning all by name.

4.  Professor Barton Beebe at Cardozo Law School added this to his advanced trademark law syllabus as an "indispensable blog" and extended an invitation to present a lecture on "The Effect of the Internet on Trademark Law", which I truly enjoyed.

5.  Managing IP magazine saw my post on UDRP advocacy and solicited an article published in their February edition, "How to win domain name cases."

6.  Law.com also noticed and invited several guest columns.

Thanks again for visiting.  Send a note.  I'm glad to hear from you.  All the best for year two.
